'To quote Meg Ryan in To Gun, “You won’t be happy unless you are going Mach 2 with your hair on fire”.'

Not to be pedantic but that was actually Kelly McGillis.

Very well written to sum up your latest chapter. I think your dad hit it on the head with being where you are right now and letting the experience give you some guidance as the next door opens your next chapter in life. I´ve enjoyed following your blog, especially seeing your literature on places that I have been myself and comparing our respective experiences. I´m a big believer that we are products of our environments so who we are is often influenced by the environment we choose to be apart of which, fortunately, is often changing for us. Thus in turn, the experience in whole forms a more 360 degree, complete individual, open to most anything.
Thank you for ending it with a Hunter S. Thompson quote, by far one of my favorite journalists and writers.. Gonzo!!!
Take care big guy, see you in 3 months back stateside....

It looks like you spent your time right, 'floating around' Europe or wherever you felt like you should go. I'm sure you went through some interesting adventures and wild times! I know what you mean about settling down and all, my Mom keeps asking when I'm going to come home and settle down. And like you said, sometimes you gotta put yourself in unfamiliar settings and out of your comfort zone in order to learn more about yourself and to let the world change you a bit. 'let the world change you and you can change the world.'

Looking forward to catching up with you at somepoint, somewhere in the world! Saludos

Good thing i took you to Söder for yoga, I went today, and the instructor was a fat guy with a pony tail!! And he kept poking me all the time too!

Some philosophers believe you are always where you are supposed to be at any time...the key is to appreciate the lesson to be learned, and to keep an eye out for opportunity or “guidance”. Trust your inner voice...and don't spend so much time looking for that next great place to be, that you forget to appreciate where you are right now. Looks like you figured that out a lot quicker than I did...when one door closes, another will open if you are open to that...

About OZ, yes I am going to start looking into it as soon as I get home and settled. However, there are only two possible outcomes. 1. we both come back as broken men or 2. neither of us comeback. Those are our only two options.
